Teachers Short-term joint training in Wolin -Poland 5-9 Febr. 2018

Polish school provide first teachers training for 8 staff from partner schools. During the week teachers attended trainings with particular emphasis on experiential open-ended learning methods.

The first day our guests had school tour prepared by students from the polish school. Then they watched school academy with songs introduced different parts, cultures from Poland. At the end all students sung together special song “We’ve got rights”. After the academy teachers spend some time with local authorities discussing the project aims.

The next days we had job shadowing and teachers trainings. All the teachers from Greece, Spain, Italy and Northern Ireland join lessons and introduced prepared activities. The students were very excited during that special lessons. Then all the staff joined very interesting trainings. They were prepared by teachers from the polish school and education specialists. First activities develop the competences of group work and creating the bond between pupils. The most interesting trainings introduced concentration methods that can be used during lessons.

The guests had the chance to get some information about local history, nature and touristic attraction. The most important point was the meeting with local government. We had the opportunity to present the most important assumption of our project activities.

The culmination of the visit was the Trades prepared at school by students. That was the special day of Entrepreneurship. Students were selling their goods, they could get some information about important jobs.

The week of joint staff training was very effective for guest teachers and for polish teachers and students.
